1 pinch salt
4 cups fruit assorted, rhubarb, strawberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, blackberries etc. I used a peach, a nectarine and a scattering of blackberries in my version
1/2 cup sugar depending on the tartness of the fruit; rhubarb, for example, would need a greater amount of sugar
