1/2 tsp coriander seeds crushed in a mortar and pestle
1 onion medium, diced
1 jalapeno chilies or any hot green pepper, sliced, can use seeded or ½ seeded to tone down heat
1 tomatoes medium, diced
4 garlic cloves minced
1 piece fresh ginger thin 1 inch, grated on small hole grater or ginger grater
1/2 tsp chili powder red pepper
1/2 tsp salt or according to taste
8 tbsps water
1 wedge lime or lemon
1/2 tsp asafetida crushed dry, leaves
1/4 tsp amchur powder, mango powder
garam masala Touch of, for taste and garnish before serving
