3 tbsps butter
1/4 tsp pepper for sauce plus more to season chicken
salt to lightly season chicken
3 tbsps sauce
1 cup flour
3 tsps lemon juice
1 onion medium, finely diced
3 garlic cloves minced
1 1/2 lbs fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup whipping cream or 1 cup half & half instead of the milk & whipping cream
