1 tbsp peanut oil
2 tbsps peeled fresh ginger minced
2 garlic cloves minced
3 tbsps sesame oil Asian
2 tbsps soy sauce
5 1/2 tbsps sugar
1 tbsp hot chili oil or more, we used Mongolian fire oil… not sure if that’s what the recipe was calling for or not.
5 1/2 tsps salt
1 lb Chinese egg noodles fresh, about 1/16 inch in diameter or fresh angel hair pasta
12 green onions white and pale green parts only, thinly sliced
1/2 cup roasted peanuts coarsely chopped
1/4 cup thai basil thinly sliced fresh, or regular basil will work just fine
