3 jalapeno chilies seeded and stems removed, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup chopped cilantro loosely packed fresh, including stems
1/2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsps salt
2 tbsps sugar or more, to taste, depending on how sweet your tomatoes are
