6 pita bread pockets, not the thin kind
1 lb lean ground beef I used 95/5 and you could get away with less than a pound
1 onions diced
2 cloves garlic pressed
1/4 cup chopped parsley fresh, and coriander mixed together
1/4 cup green pepper chopped
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper add more if you like it spicy!
1 1/2 tsps spices seven, blend of cinnamon, clove, allspice, etc.
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper or Simply Organic Spicy Steak seasoning, optional
1 1/2 tsps salt
1/4 cup melted butter
