1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs I used crushed whole wheat cracker crumbs
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tsps dry mustard
1 cube beef bouillon crumbled, or powdered beef base
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 eggs my addition
1 whole onions halved and thinly sliced, or diced if you prefer
2 cups beef broth more if needed for thinning
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp sauce seasoning, such as Kitchen Bouquet, optional, I didn’t use
1 tsp corn starch optional
