1 lb lean ground meat I used chicken
5 slices bacon chopped
1 onion medium, chopped small
2 serrano chilies green, chopped, seeded or not
1 bell pepper chopped, or 1 cup frozen chopped bell peppers are fine
1 tbsp fresh ginger grated, see note
3 cloves garlic fresh, grated, see note
1 tbsp brown sugar or more if you like it extra sweet
1 cup chicken broth or bullion/water equivalent
1 cup pasta sauce your favorite
2 tsps garam masala
1/2 tsp tumeric
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes or to taste
seasoning salt some, to taste, I used Lawry's
black pepper to taste
1 tbsp malt vinegar or red wine vinegar
