1 lb lean ground beef very, less than 10% fat
olive oil 2-3 tsp., depends on your pan
1 cup onion chopped, one large onion
1 tbsp minced garlic or less if you're not that fond of garlic
14 ozs chicken broth can
1 juice diced tomatoes with
tomatoes i like muir glen organic fire roasted
1 sauerkraut with juice, or use bottled sauerkraut
1 cup water if needed
1 tbsp splenda or brown sugar, use Splenda for South Beach Diet
3 1/2 bay leaves dried
3 tbsps parsley minced, or 1-2 T dried parsley
rubbed sage 1 tsp.
black pepper fresh ground, to taste
