1 eggs or 1 tablespoon flax meal + 3 tablespoons water
1/4 cup coconut oil melted, vegetable oil works as well
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup maple syrup optional if you want it to be sweeter but I went without
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour all purpose is okay
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans toasted, or walnuts
