1 cup whole wheat flour white, if you don’t have whole wheat flour, just use all-purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal medium or fine ground, I used white cornmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsps salt
1 1/2 tsps baking powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
1/2 cup honey or pure maple syrup if you have it on hand
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
3/4 cup chopped walnuts reserving a few whole walnut halves for decorating the top
1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
