6 cups water
onions yellow, minced - 1.5 Cups
carrots thinly sliced into rounds - 2 Cups
2 1/2 tbsps garam masala
1 tsp basil
1 tsp cumin
bay leaves dry - 2 Medium
2 tsps parsley
1 tsp salt
pepper To taste, I added close to a teaspoon.. I like pepper
1 tsp coriander as an afterthought because I have an obsession..
