1 lb shrimp or more large
1 cup snow peas cut on diagonal if large
1/3 cup chicken stock
2 1/2 tsps rice vinegar and 1/2 tsp sugar or splenda
soy sauce 2 tsp.
corn starch 1 1/2 tsp., or use arrowroot starch if you have it, I buy it from Penzeys
1 1/2 tbsps vegetable oil or peanut oil, depends on your pan
2 tsps ginger root grated fresh, use a microplane grater if you have one
2 tbsps minced garlic finely
1 jar garlic
2 slices ginger *for seasoning the oil*, optional, see below
