1 med., small dice, about 1/2 cup
4 ozs mushrooms
pieces and stems, drained and rinsed - or use fresh mushrooms, 1/2 cup or so sliced and chopped
1/2 tsp salt
I skipped the salt because of the salt in the sausage and the baking mix and found it was just fine because I added just a pinch of kosher salt when sauteing the onions.
