toasted and crushed, or 1Â½ teaspoons ground cumin
2 jalapeno chilies
sliced into rings, optional, I had red Fresno peppers on hand
If you have a choice to purchase, as opposed to regular limes, I would choose the key limes. They are much more aromatic and flavorful. These are the limes I remember as a kid and are still the most commonly used lime in Mexican cooking.
