Ingredients

1 butternut squash medium, peeled, seeds removed, and cut in 1/2 inch cubes
3 tbsps olive oil
1 lb rigatoni
3 slices bacon cut into 1/2 inch pieces, I find it easiest to use scissors
2 onions medium, cut in half then sliced thinly crosswise
1/2 tsp sugar
4 tbsps butter
4 tbsps flour
3 cups milk
1 pinch nutmeg
2 ozs goat cheese crumbled, 1/2 cup
1/4 cup sage leaves loosely packed fresh, finely chopped
1/3 cup bread crumb fresh or panko
