1 cup rice soaked for at least an hour, then drained, I used jasmine but you could also use Calrose or a short grain rice
1 cup shrimp cleaned and chopped into small pieces
1/2 cup carrots diced
2 stalks green onions chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tbsps sesame oil plus more for drizzling on top
1 sheet seaweed Korean roasted, crumbled
7 cups water
1 tbsp fish sauce
salt to taste
