1 head Boston lettuce or use green leaf lettuce or romaine, but the Boston lettuce was great in this
1/2 head radicchio thinly sliced, optional but good
1 cup hearts of palm sliced
1 avocado peeled and diced
2 tbsps pinenuts optional, could use slivered almonds if you don't want to buy pine nuts
1/2 tsp lemon zest zest the lemon first before you squeeze the juice
ground black pepper Coarse, to taste
salt Vege-Sal, vegetable seasoned, or salt to taste
2 tbsps extra-virgin olive oil use your best olive oil for this
