1/2 cup arrowroot starch potato starch, or tapioca starch
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 tsps xanthan gum
1/2 tsp nutmeg or cardamom
1 cup light brown sugar organic, packed
2 eggs whisked with warm water, total 4 tablespoons liquid*
1/4 cup Spectrum Organic Shortening or coconut oil
1 tbsp honey or raw agave nectar
3/4 cup hot water start with less, especially if you use real eggs
