1 tbsp green onions chopped, shallots may also be used
1 tsp miso light-colored
1/4 cup sugar dark vegan, palm sugar, if available, but turbinado or demerara works well
1/4 tsp tamarind concentrate or 1/8 cup tamarind liquid
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsps ginger chopped, peeled
2 tbsps lime chopped, including peel
2 tbsps chili pepper chopped, I used jalapeƱo
1/2 cup peanuts toasted and chopped, may use crushed dry-roasted peanuts
8 rice paper these are dried sheets found in Asian markets
